About AICAP

In the next three years, we will be able to consolidate our research and education structures conducive of more integrated projects or programs that will benefit the poultry industry and contribute to the prevention of pandemic influenza.

This cooperative effort is the direct result of the recognition of the importance of coordinated efforts by the USDA. The AICAP will continue its commitment to multi-institutional projects to develop reagents, technologies, and human resources aimed at the detection and eradication of influenza from economically important poultry species in the U.S.

This website serves as one of the core outreach components of the AICAP project. Visitors to the site will be provided with background information about AI, learn about progress and current research, funding opportunities, and identify potential research collaborations.

Portions of the website are reserved, via a secure login, for researchers working within the AICAP. The secure area provides a mechanism for researchers to share preliminary data, post comments to a message board, and hosts a repository of documents necessary to administer the project.
