Summary Report of Activities AICAP 2006

The long term goal of the AICAP program is to serve as the major point of reference for the poultry industry and the general public in all matters related to the biology, the risks associated with and the methods used to prevent and control avian influenza (AI). Our major goal was to develop a collective network research structure that establishes the basis for a better understanding of avian influenza; in terms of the mechanisms that lead to the emergence of avian influenza in poultry, and, more importantly, how to prevent it.
